Sunny's Story...
Rescued from a farm that kept over 70 horses without food or water, Sunny is a pretty, light palomino mare. She is still shy around people, but S.H.A.R.E. is in the process of halter breaking her and socializing. Like Sunshine, she has a trim, refined look to her. Simply gorgeous.

July 2014: Sunny has received 4 months of professional training and is doing great undersaddle! She still needs someone to help her build her confidence but is sure to be a great horse for someone!

Sunny's adoption fee has not yet been assessed. She is approved for adoption in Illinois or a neighboring state.

Adopters must be 21 or older, if you are under 18, please have a parent contact us as our adoption agreement is a legal agreement which must be made with an adult. We do welcome volunteers of any age, those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Dewey Rocky Mountain/Missouri Foxtrotter was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rocky Mountain/Missouri Foxtrotter for sale in Dewey, or seeking a Rocky Mountain/Missouri Foxtrotter from a breeder in Dewey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dewey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dewey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rocky Mountain/Missouri Foxtrotter breeders who help with Rocky Mountain/Missouri Foxtrotter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dewey paves the way for another one to be saved.
