Sheba is very affectionate, with a laidback attitude common to many black cats. She is approximately seven years old - old enough to have good manners, but young enough to be playful and entertaining.
Her current favorite game is hide-and-seek behind a curtain, calling until her foster mom “finds” her and then rolling over for a vigorous tummy rub. Sheba is a total lap cat. Also, Sheba loves food and needs a person who can regulate her diet and withstand her “puppy dog eyes.”
She has a chirpy meow, which she uses often to let you know when she’s ready to play, when she’s hungry, or when she just wishes you’d sit down so she can climb on your lap. She is both inquisitive and exploratory, and adaptable enough to make herself at home anywhere. Sheba does not get upset easily, but has a very sassy personality. Her favorite toys are anything on a string and the laser light.
Sheba prefers to be an “only child,” and isn’t particularly interested in sharing her people with other cats. Sheba has a touch of asthma, which is easily managed and doesn't affect her quality or length of life. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
