McClintock's Story...
Handsome Mac~McClIntock is a beautiful silver dapple with a while chest & a blue speck in one eye. His inquisitive nature leads wherever his long nose whiffs and sniffs. Tho’ relatively quite he will bark at cats, rabbits, cows and unusual sounds in a “who are you??” manner. He is crate trained & mostly house trained loves to be cuddled and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes.

At age two he stays quietly in his crate from nine pm ‘til seven am when he announces the break of day with a whimper He is accustomed to staying in his crate a few hours morning and afternoon and loves to go outside and investigate the world. Walks nicely on leash except for tuggin’ at whiffs of cats and rabbits and such. He responds to come, sit, collar, kennel and where’s BOBO? his favorite toy.. He is working on down and rollover which is not difficult as he loves tummy scratches and playing ball. His adoption fee is 200.00 and covers his neuter, current on vaccinations & heartworm preventative & is microchipped. Please consider giving Mac the loving home he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McClintock, a Bryan Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Bryan, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Bryan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bryan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bryan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bryan paves the way for another one to be saved.
