In the Bible, Samson's strength derived from his unshorn locks. In the case of Samson, the eighteen-month-old Lab, his strength is the direct result of his enormous size. This is about the biggest Lab you are ever likely to meet. And, like so many other big dogs, Samson was given up when his owner concluded that the dog had become too big for his home. Congenial and kind-hearted Samson would be a strong ally and loyal companion to a family with children of any age and other pets.
