for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Franco's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Franco's Story...
3/15/09: Meet Franco Harris (what can we say, his foster dad is a die hard Steelers fan!). Franco is the most adorable little guy you'll ever meet. A trucker found him all alone at a rest stop- can you believe it!
Franco is about 3 1/2- 4 months old so it is likely he won't be very big as an adult. He has Dachshund shaped legs and wiry hair (little whiskers...so cute) with a tail that curls up slightly. He is a doll!!!

Franco would love to have a loving home to call his own. He loves to be with you (really likes to go on car rides!). If you have any questions, please call Allison at 901-240-9848 or Joan at 870-739-5412 (alternate number 870-739-1145).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franco, a Marion Dachshund/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Marion, or seeking a Dachshund/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
