My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Engee, a special needs, is about 6 years old and a real sweetie. Engee is quite vocal and energetic. He loves the company of other cats and humans

He has a grade three heart murmur but it doesn't stop this little guy from having fun. He receives daily meds for this condition.

This little guy was a rescue that was abandoned at a local shelter, in their parking lot.

A terrible storm happened the night before he was found located up in their van engine compartment. He probably went up in there to get out of the weather.

They couldn't get him out and proceeded to honk the horn and terrifying him even more to go up in there even deeper. Finally, they prodded so much that he bolted out of there and went behind a fenced area. They couldn't catch him, so they left him there and went home for the night.

A volunteer told us about this poor kitten and his plight, so we went over there to see if he was still around. We went to the fence where he was last seen and sure enough, this little guy didn't stray from that area. He stayed back, but with a little food in hand, he came over to investigate it and we got him and placed him into a carrier.

He was all greasy from the engine and scared from his ordeal, but was in otherwise good shape.

We named him Engee, shortened for his engine visit.

He is neutered, up to date on his shots, wormed, flea treated, micro-chipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLv.

No small children under 12 please.

All cats and kittens in private home foster care require an approved application in order to show them.

We do not adopt our cats out beyond a 4 county area from Camden County. We also cannot return out of area phone calls. Thank you for your understanding!

Please email us at pawsforlife1@aol.com for more info and how to adopt him.
