Norman's Story...
Hello there folks! My name is Norman; nice to meet you! I am a serene 2-3 year-old Boxer/Pittie mix. I am a big lover boy who enjoys hanging out, giving away my yummy kisses. Although I am a sweet lad, I can get distracted pretty easily & prefer my independence at times. I am certainly a strapping young buck who would like to live with grown children, as I wouldn’t want to knock down a young child. I would really make a great companion to a young couple without other animals. Unfortunately, my kind disposition with humans doesn’t extend to other woofers or kitty cats. I would be super lucky to have a guardian who can teach me commands & get me out to explore the world. I think I could grow to be more social with a little guidance. Oh, please say you’ll love me so. How can you say no to these soulful eyes? Can’t you just imagine waking up everyday to this teddy bear face? What are you waiting for? Come on down & meet my ruggedly handsome self in person. Have your people call my people!

Act quickly to adopt Norman. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Huntington Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
