German Shepard/American Foxhound Mix spayed female, approx. 2yrs 1mth old

Yes, I am beautiful and looking for a good home. I was on the run until I was found early March 2009. The small scar on my ear is healing nicely and I really enjoyed my bath and groom. I am quite sensitive but have spunk and need to go out and play with an outdoorsy companion.

Check me out at the Harbor Shelter located @

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a San Pedro German Shepherd Dog/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Foxhound for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Foxhound dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Foxhound breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
