Tango's Story...
Hello - we are the dance kids! We were born February 2009 and are ready for our forever homes. We are beautiful, sweet, playful babies. We'd love homes in pairs, as we all get along so well together. Come see us at PetsMart Naples!

All kittens & cats are treated for worms & parasites, treated with Revolution for fleas and ear mites, tested for FIV/FELV, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped (registered with Avid). Only $70 adoption fee for this $400 value!

All our kitties are kept in foster homes, at PetsMart on Pine Ridge and Airport, or Petco on 41 and Wiggins Pass. To adopt a kitty online, please visit our website: www.volunteerservicesforanimals.com and fill out an adoption application. You may e-mail the completed application to vsarescue@aol.com or fax to 239-261-4768. Upon receipt, a phone interview will be conducted and a meeting set, pending final approval of your application.

Please note, the website is updated daily so if a pet you are interested in is still online, most of the time it is still available for adoption. We do get more than one person interested in a particular pet at any given time, so the only way to ensure you get to adopt the pet you want, is to start by filling out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tango, a Naples Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Naples, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Naples.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naples already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naples breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naples paves the way for another one to be saved.
