Jack's Story...
Handsome Jack is about 2 years old and was turned in to a central Illinois animal control with his dad. His dad was adopted, but Jack was left behind. Because he was such a good boy, the volunteers wanted him to be accepted into a no kill shelter so that he would have a chance at the good life. Jack would do well with a female companion, tho he would rather dine alone. He is a tad chunky, but he is very healthy and completely vetted. He is an affectionate people oriented dog who will make some lucky person a good companion! Jack is crate trained and housebroken.Jack's adoption fee is $200. He is neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. Please email plaidpjs@sbcglobal.net for more info or call his foster mom Nancy at (773) 631-8999.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Peoria American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Peoria, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Peoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
