Olive's Story...
This is the fabulous Olive. She is a 11 week old Lab/Beagle/Chihuahua/ terrier mixes looking for a lifetime home. (I have pictures of the parents to prove it) When full grown she should be between 20-30 lbs. She is super sweet and has been socialized with other dogs, cats, and lots of kids. So families looking to adopt apply here. We are working on potty training so please be aware that there will be lots of training for her. Could you be there forever home? Please email Friendsrescued@yahoo.com for an application. NO PHONE calls please. Adoption requirements: Own your home, have a fenced backyard, and there is a $150.00 adoption donation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Elizabeth Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever for sale in Elizabeth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Elizabeth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth paves the way for another one to be saved.
