Dundee's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dundee's Story...
I had a pretty rough start. I was hit by a car when I was younger, so I was terrified of cars. I even used to flinch when you raised a hand. A nice family saw how sweet I was and took me in, but soon realized that they didn’t have the resources to help me get better. They contacted New Hope and I am so happy they did!
My foster mom has been really patient with me and I’ve become a whole new dog since the day I came to New Hope. I got over my nervousness about new situations, I'm not afraid of cars anymore and I've really learned all my manners since I've been here. Thanks Mom! She calls me the Gentle Giant. I love to give kisses and be around you all the time. I stay close by your side and am always looking to snuggle up. I’ve got really good manners with other dogs and I like trips to the dog park. I love going on walks too! I’m really good on a leash. I really like grown ups and teenagers, but I don’t really care for little kids and cats look a lot of fun to chase and terrorize, so I would be good in home with older kids and no cats. I’m a big guy, but that’s just so I can fit all the love I have in me! Please contact New Hope to meet me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dundee, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
