Splash is nearly the perfect dog! She has great social skills- she loves dogs and people- and meets every new experience with enthusiasm. She has a good amount of energy since she is a young dog, but she is very praise motivated so she is happy to do her best to do what is asked of her. She walks very well on the leash and is the type of dog that could easily go to the dog park, hiking, or anywhere her people are going because she has such good social skills. She will be a joy to train and will make a great partner for all of your adventures.She weighs about 35-40 pounds so she is a great size and she is around a year old. She will be a welcome addition to her new household.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday October 26th from 2-6pm. Saturday, October 27th CPR will be at Oliver and Company located at 819 Straits Trpk #5 in Middlebury from 10am-2pm. Lastly on Sunday October 28th, CPR will be at PetValu in Southbury from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
