Paisley & Gingham's Story...
Gingham is the beautiful point who happily seeks out human attention, promptly attempts to climb up your leg and get to your shoulder, where she can enjoy the various sites and sounds around our home. Paisley, although less gregarious, has the most gleeful weasel dance we have seen in a long time. She obviously tickles herself senseless when romping about. The two of them are a bonded pair and would be excellent companions to most any home, with or without other ferrets. Little paisley and gingham were recently brought to us by a very kind woman. First gingham proudly declared her presence on "Dee's" front porch. Shortly thereafter, Dee glanced out into the yard and saw a suspicious backpack. She approached and found little she "paisley" both under a pound and dehydrated, dee did the right thing by immediately seeking out The Ferret Inn. She delivered them that same day and they have been thriving ever since.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley & Gingham, a Columbia Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
