Cooper is Adopted
Cooper is currently fostered in Courtland Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $300
Cooper is a little 3 yr old male cocker spaniel.
He came to our rescue from a shelter so we do not have any history on him.
Cooper is a little cocker weighing 20 lbs.
He is a happy/active boy that will need an experienced cocker owner willing to work with him on training.
He is a sweet boy, however has some trust issues, and can/will get nippy if handled incorrectly.
Cooper has been in foster care for a couple of weeks now, and has gained some trust with his human fosters.
He allows petting, he craves attention, and his little nubby tail wags a million miles a minute!!!
When he first came to us he was “guarded” it was easy to tell he wasn’t sure about people.
He still has to be muzzled when at the vet, and he also needs time to warm up when meeting new people.
He was just recently neutered, so we are working on house-training.
He currently needs a belly band to discourage leg lifting.
Cooper does very well with the other dogs, he wants to play, however he will get in another dogs face at times which causes fights when with a group of several others.
He does not back down when another dog initiates a fight either.
When one on one with Cooper, he does love to play with toys, and fetch a tennis ball.
He appears to be very trainable, and would thrive with an experienced owner.
He needs someone that can walk him, play fetch and work on his trust issues.
Cooper is already neutered, had a dental, is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.
