Howdy- I'm SALEM! I am a beautiful, sleek black feline- who's just as loving as can be! If you're looking for a friendly, holdable, lap cat to add to your household- please look no further, I'm your girl!

Most of the time black cats at rescue groups and shelters get overlooked. But just because I am solid black doesn't mean I don't have a fantastic personality! I have so much love to share and I promise I will be fur-ever devoted to you, if you can provide me with a loving, committed home to call my very own. My foster family says I am THE sweetest feline they have ever owned or fostered!

I am around 1 year old. I have big bright gold eyes that add to my natural beauty! I am spayed, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia and I have been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. In addition, I am housetrained/litterbox trained (indoor only cat).

My life started out pretty tough as a stray. I was very scared, very hungry and very lonley! I never knew where I was going to sleep or how I would find my next meal. But lucky for me- the good people at ADVOCATES 4 ANIMALS came to the rescue and literally saved my life! Now I am just patiently waiting to find a home to call my very own, fur-ever! I do well with other cats, with dogs and with older children & adults. I am dreaming of the day I am adopted...
