Hi!! My name is Madeline and I am as beautiful as my name is!! I’m a sweet 6 year young bully girl that came into rescue because my family couldn't take care of my medical issues. And, boy, did I have issues!! The first thing my new foster parents noticed was a funky smell. The looked under all my nooks and cranny’s and found that there was a rampant infection in my ears and my tail pocket. You know, bully’s have crazy corkscrew tails that need constantly cleaned.

CEBR immediately got me into the vet and from there things started to improve. My ears were so infected that I whimpered when my foster momma would pat my head. Under the vet’s care and with some strong medicine, my ears are on the mend. It may take a while for them to totally be free of infection, but we’re on our way!

I also had a bad tooth removed. But my biggest issue was my infected tail. It had been infected for a very long time and was so bad that it had to be amputated (OUCH). But CEBR knew it was for the best. When I woke up, I wasn't sure what had happened, only that my foster mom was there to take me home. I hurt really bad when we got home and neither one of us slept very much the first night. I got to go to work with her the next day, she said it was because she wanted to make sure I was ok. Isn't that nice?? It was fun and I got alot of attention which made me forget my sore backside! I can now say that I am feeling better. I don't shake my head because my ears don't hurt nearly as bad. My foster mom wipes my backside very gently after I go outside.

I get along swimmingly with my foster brothers. Before coming into rescue I lived with a cat and a chihuahua at my former home but being around all these bullies is even more fun! I have only gotten cross once and that was when the youngest of my foster bully siblings tried to sniff me through the crate. I wasn’t ready for the introduction yet.

I have had no accidents, sleep in my crate (which my former owners said I had never done), eat yogurt on my food and my foster mom feeds it to me on a spoon with my meds. I am very polite and just want my very own family to love me!!!

I promise, you will adore me.

Love and bully kisses,

Madeline
