Lacey in Sugarland's Story...
Lacey is a beautiful 3-year-old blue pied girl that weighs 12 pounds. Beautiful Lacey was tearfully surrendered to Rescue by her owner. Lacey was very much wanted and loved, but due to a sad combination of circumstances, the family could no longer provide for her.

Lacey was naturally sad the first few days in her foster home, but she adjusted quickly to her new life and her adorable personality could not be suppressed for long. She has a wiggle wag and a happy dance that is guaranteed to charm. She really gets excited if she thinks she is going for a walk or a ride in the car.

Lacey is very well mannered, leash trained, and 99% housebroken. She gets along with all people and dogs she has met so far. Her favorite person in the house is the one who is currently sitting so she can snuggle next to them!

She is a little bit of a talker. She is currently in the process of training her foster family what her little noises mean. She lets them know when she wants or expects something, and it has been quite fun trying to learn her language.

This little joyful hound will be ready for adoption soon after she fully recovers from her spay and dental.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey in Sugarland, a Argyle Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Argyle, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Argyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Argyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Argyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Argyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
