Nemo's Story...
Nemo is a 2 year old boxer with a little lab mixed in. He has the body and coat of a boxer and when you look at him from the rear you would think he was nothing but boxer. However his face is not all boxer. He is absolutely stunnning in person; his pictures do not do him justice! He's about the size of a boxer too. For some reason his pictures make him look huge but he's not.

Nemo is fairly typical of a boxer in his personality. He is has lots of energy, thinks everyone is up for a good game of "chase me", and he has a great sense of humour. He does not understand when other dogs don't enjoy his zest for life but is good natured about just about everything.

Nemo would like a family who appreciates the boxer menality and vitality. He loves attention of pretty much any kind and will lavish you with love and kisses. He is fine with older children, but he would be too much for small children. It's that wagging bum thing ...he does not always pay attention to what his back end is doing. He plays well with other dogs, any game is good! Nemo would love to show you how smart he is. Got a ball or a toy and he'd be happy to play with you too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Saskatoon Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
