April's Story...
Siamese mix kitten who is currently looking for a new home. She was surrendered to PAWS-OK by her owners when they were forced to move into a new non-cat friendly residence. We estimate that April was born in July of 2008. She has been with her current owners for most of her young life and is used to living with another cat and 2 dogs. April is very sweet and loves to sit in the windowsill. She has tested negative for Feleuk and FIV, she has been spayed and she is current on her vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

April, a Oklahoma City Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
