Harriet's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Harriet's Story...
This goofy, active girl wants to play, play, play, take a break and then play some more. Harriet is still mouthy, like a pup, but very easily trained so she'll drop this habit quickly once she's given some direction. She's very engaged with people and actively seeks out their company. Harriet would make a wonderful running partner. Since she's still mouthy and pretty high energy, she should be in a home with no kids. She's playful with other dogs and even fine with cats.

Act quickly to adopt Harriet. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harriet, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
