Giovanni and his litter mates were given away at a doggie park by someone who carelessly had their dogs breed! They did not even know how to care for puppies, so a good Samaritan who happened to be one of our volunteers took him and his brother home. Giovanni is a great puppy who's playful but mature for his age that while his brother yaps away, he quietly sits up like a little prince looking at you with soulful eyes! If you're interested in meeting this gentle soul, please contact us today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Giovanni, a Marina del Rey Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
