Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a very friendly 14-month-old Black Lab mix. She is housetrained and very gentle. She loves to ride in cars, usually sleeping, and is not afraid of loud noises like thunder. Maggie loves children and reportedly is fine with cattle and probably fine with other animals as well. Officially, our animals are only given three weeks to find homes before they are to be euthanized, so if you are interested in giving this one or any other a loving, forever home, please don't hesitate call us at 573-642-7443 or it may be too late!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Fulton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fulton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
