When a 10-year old Sussex Spaniel named Stump taught the Westminster Dog Show a lesson by winning the Best in Show award, spaniel lovers the world-over were thrilled! Now everyone would know just how special this wonderful breed is. And when one of CSR's volunteers found this incredibly handsome red-coated boy at the Harris County Animal Shelter, they knew a winner when they saw one! Our Stump is around a year old and likely a Sussex spaniel mix. His deeply resonating bark will definitely make someone think twice about causing harm to his "human". A real ham at the last adoption day, Stump knows how to work it like a pro and will probably leave the Inn sooner rather than later.
