Sashi's Story...
Hello, my name is Sashi, or at least that is what they have been calling me. I found myself on a county road one day and did not really know where I was, or how I ended up there. A nice couple took me in to keep me safe and made many attempts to find my owners. In their home I have enjoyed the companionship and playtime with their three other dogs, as well as, their many nieces and nephews. I am looking for a forever home where my obedience training will be continued.

Currently I know how to "sit" nicely for a treat. I will "down" with a 'lil' encouragement. Agility is of interest to me, yet hiking and other adventures in the great outdoors seem even more inviting. Due to my inquisitive mind and athleticism I will need to be challenged with advanced studies and interesting activities. Keep in mind, I am a major snuggle bunny and I really like belly rubs. I am the epitome of a companion who will show you how to enjoy life 24/7. I am housetrained and "go potty" very quickly when taken outside. During the day while my foster parents are away, they gate me in the laundry room just to make sure I do not get in to anything. You never know, I do still have just a touch of puppy in me. I am a black and tan shepherd/lab mix. I weigh about 55 pounds. My tail has a slight curl to it and my ears have that "helicopter" look at times. Please consider me when thinking about adding a companion to your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sashi, a Boston Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
