I ain't nothing but a hound dog, crying all the time!! My name is Elvis and you are a friend of mine!! Hah! Yep, that's me, Elvis, an 8 year old singing hound dog!. Well, I am a hound, but a beagle/basset hound.

My foster mom and dad report that I am one sweet and mellow boy. I really like taking walks, love to play and run around the yard and head out to the dog park and do some socializing. I am housetrained and know how to use the doggie door, when I first got to my new foster home, they didn’t even need to show me how to use it, I already knew how. I like to sit on the couch and take naps; my foster mom and dad say that I like to snore, maybe it’s because I may have a little Bassett Hound in me. I am good on walks and when we get home, I love to sit on the first stair of the swimming pool and cool off, but I really like getting toweled off, it’s like getting a massage. I’m really very likeable and have a cheerful disposition. I get along well with other dogs and like hanging around house with my foster beagle brother. I love getting treats and I know when my foster parents walk into the kitchen pantry there’s a chance I might get one.
