My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tessa, Checkers and Speedie were born into rescue on January 14, 2009. Their beautiful mom, Barbie came to us pregnant in December. She was a piebald mini dachshund weighing about 8 pounds. Barbie was a good mom to her babies, she has been adopted and now the kids are ready to go. All are up to date on all shots, wormed, microchipped, neutered or spayed and ready to be a wonderful companion to you. We were under the impression that the sire was a miniature doxie as well but it has been suggested that these guys could be part poodle. They are all small and similar in size, they all have little doxie legs but Checkers and Tessa have long wavy coats. So we will post them as doxie poodle mixes although they could be long coat mini doxies. We just don't know but what we do know is that these babies are about as cute as they come. Both boys weigh 4 pounds each so we predict that their adult weight will be around 8 pounds. Tessa weighs a little over 3 pounds and we predict that her adult weight will be around 6 - 7 pounds.



The adoption fee for Tessa is $350. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.
