Libermann's Story...
What a face. This guy has an independent streak which really just means he isn't all that needy and won't slobber all over you every time he sees you. He can be affectionate, though; it's just not his driving force. He is reactive with other male dogs but could cohabitate nicely with the right female. He likes to get out and DO things so he'd make a great companion for an active, outdoorsy type. Since he's energetic, strong, and independent, we think he's most suited to an adult-only household. No cats for Libermann

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libermann, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
