My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shandi is an AQHA registerable filly. (Papers are pending). She is a sweet little girl that likes attention, is easy to catch, halters, and leads quietly and respectfully. She is learning to stand for the farrier, and allowing humans to touch her all over.

Shandi is a very affectionate filly. She came up behind me the other day and laid her chin on my shoulder. She has the cutest baby doll head, and she will just melt your heart.

Shandi's dam is a red dun who is probably one of the sweetest mares on the ranch. The mare has Sir Quincy Dan and Sir Quincy Bob breeding. Shandi's sire is Smokin' Lynx Olena - a gorgeous grulla stallion who is being bred by Private Treaty only in Canada. You can see pictures of both of her parents here in this ad.

We are not sure what color Shandi is going to be yet. When she was born she definitely had the dorsal stripe, leg barring, and some brindling down her hindquarters. I'm waiting until she sheds out to make the official call on color though.
