Tonka's Story...
Hi, My name is Tonka. I am a 10 month old 1/2 German Shepherd 1/2 Siberian Husky. I currently live with 3 other dogs and 2 cats. I get along with all of them. I love attention, especially children, but no small kids because I do tend to jump some. I am not an inside dog as I have been outside all my life. I am an awesome guard dog and will let you know if something doesn't belong in the yard. I am going to be large sized when I am mature. I am also neutered. If you are looking for one beautiful dog, look no further because you found me. I do require my new home to have a fenced in yard and plenty of room to run and play. I also have a $75.00 adoption fee to ensure I go to a good home. If you would like to meet me, call my owner, Amy Dick, at 318-578-5635 or email her at amyspoultry@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tonka, a Haughton Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
