My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Esme is an absolutely stunning cat with the most beautiful blue eyes - she is just gorgeous! That's the first thing you notice about her. The second thing you notice about her is as soon as you walk into her room, Esme turns up the volume on her purr motor! She's very funny because she has a habit of flopping down on her side, lying there and staring up at you with those big blue eyes of hers, and just purring away while kneading her paws in contentment. Esme is a bit shy, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying petting, head scratches, and quality snuggle time in your lap!



One thing Esme is not shy about is playing. The speed with which she runs across the room in hot pursuit of balls and toy mice is amazing! Esme loves furry toy mice and seems to love just about any type of ball you throw for her - bells with balls in them, crinkly sparkle balls, fuzzy soft balls - you throw it, she'll chase it! She also enjoyed playing with the mouse track toy - a round container with gaps in it where Esme sticks her paw in and makes the mouse zoom around inside in circles.



Esme was out with some of her feline roommates and let out a few hisses if they got too much in her face. As we get to know Esme better, we'll be able to determine if she'd be happier as your one and only or if she wouldn't mind another feline friend or two.
