My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Garnet - momma to Gem, Marble, Stone and Emerald. I am such a good mom and actually am happy playing a surrogate momma to all the other orphaned kitties that VSA takes in. I am such a lover girl; anywhere you are, there I will be. I love attention and would love to be an only kitty, as I don't really get along with other adult cats. It's all those years of my being a mom - my instinct is to defend my young. My babies are weaned and I'm ready for my own home. Ask about me today!

Garnet doesn’t know that she would have died if a Good Samaritan hadn’t been driving by on Oil Well Road where she was just “wandering” on the side of the road. Luckily, she was brought to VSA (cat rescue group). Later that day, VSA realized that Garnet was pregnant and about to give birth any day. Who could just abandon (dump) a sweet gem of mom?

Garnet had three healthy kittens (Emerald, Gem, Stone) and was a surrogate mom to (Marble). Now, she hopes to enjoy the life of a lap cat. She also enjoys the companionship of other cats, so that would be no problem. She's hoping to become the official Cat Food Taster and lap accessory at a forever home.
