My name is Jane!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Des Moines, Washington - Jane

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jane's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Jane's Story...
Jane is a very shy little princess and is not to sure about all humans just yet. She does like the volunteers and she will let them pet her. However Jane is usually hiding in her cat tree. At most times she has a very quiet purr that you have to feel if she is purrring or not. If she is really comfortable she will let her purrr rumble.

Jane seems to like the humans that bring her canned food in the morning the best and she is actually venturing out of her cat tree. Tarzan is her bonded litter mate where there is one there is the other. Jane is the smaller and quieter of the two.

We are looking for a quiet indoor home for these two. With someone who has the patience and time to let their true personality come out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jane, a Des Moines Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
