Howdy! I'm Sassy, but don't let my name fool ya! I'm a big sweetie pie whose whole body wriggles and wags when I see you! I am a 9 year old beagle/spaniel mix who is eager to please! My owner got very sick, and I was hoping and praying I could go home, but after spending many months in a boarding kennel, my owner passed away. Suddenly, I found myself at the vet awaiting euthanasia, since none of the family wanted me. That's when the call went in to Young at Heart, and I was saved! I've been waiting for a home for a very long time now, and no one knows just why. I'm such an easy dog! I love to please, will do anything for food, and am a wonderful companion. I am super trustworthy in the house, and want nothing more than some fun toys and a snuggly bed. I am very happy-go-lucky and well-behaved, well-housebroken and love car rides. I'm good with gentle kids, and am pretty sure that cats rule the roost, so I'm ok with them, too. I am ok with visiting dogs, but don't want to live with one full time since I tend to get into scuffles over toys- I'll share my toys all day with people, though! And speaking of toys, I'm somewhat of a comedian with them- I will toss them into the air and play with them if you're too busy to toss them for me! I am healthy and ready to meet my new family. I can't wait to snuggle up to you on the couch and share your popcorn!
