Sissy-Adopted's Story...
Sissy is a 9 month old puppy. She and her brother Baby Boy were brought to Phoenix from a Missouri puppy broker. They have since been raised with other dogs, cats, and children. Sissy is a snuggly dog. She must sleep with you in your bed every night. And she feels that she has to lay on you, lay on your leg, your belly, your arm. She just must be snuggling with you at night (and likes to lay ontop of the covers). We have many foster puppies so Sissy is not completely housetrained. She does use puppy pads. It isn't that she can't be trained, it is just very hard to train multiple puppies at the same time. She is still a puppy and likes to chew, you must be ready to work on training and put away your favorite pair of shoes. Sissy weighed 14 pounds at her vet visit in March. She has a longer body like a Doxie, and a Schnauzer coat.
Sissy is spayed, microchipped, and had her vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, 5-in-1). Her adoption donation is $250 and is refundable within 30 days if she does work out in your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy-Adopted, a Mesa Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
