Bubba was rescued from a high kill shelter on his judgment day in western Oklahoma. Bubba’s foster mom made the 3 hour drive on very short notice to save this sweet boy! When he first arrived home (about seven hours later!), he was in pretty bad shape and filled with worms. Once those were gone, we discovered how skinny he was. He was so skinny, he didn't have ANY wrinkles! You'll be very pleased to know that he has filled out quite nicely and is very wrinkly and loveable! His coat has also filled in due to a diet suitable for our sensitive Pei-puppies! Bubba has some scarring from where his previous owners had him tied out (on a choke chain, no less) in their back yard. He was also kept with his girlfriend a lady-Pei and he is a little scarred from defending her honor as well. He is still super sweet and such a handsome boy! It’s taken some time but Bubba is a completely different dog now. He has wonderful house manners, knows the sit command (most of the time), just because his height isn't that of a "standard" Pei, there's nothing "mini" about his personality! Every time he hears his name that tail and rump just go crazy! He sits for his meals, and loves the ladies! He would prefer to be in a home with females, and for the most part gets along with the boys in his foster home, but he would be happiest being the king of his new castle, and that's exactly what this proud-Pei deserves! Sweet "Bubba-Dog" is being fostered in the Oklahoma City area, and transport is a possibility; all it takes is filling out an adoption application to get started on the road to a beautiful relationship. Bubba is neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. Lots of love and Pei kisses coming your way!
