My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted 06/05/09

My name is “Panther”. I have recently hung up my hat and called it quits to outdoor living. I honestly don’t know how I got out there … one day I’m cozy in a warm home and then the next day I’m living on the street. I am so suave and good-natured that I was taken quite by surprise to be out in the rain. I tried to make the best of a bad situation and make friends with the Ditmas Park Feral Cat Gang in order to survive, but they just never accepted me as one of their own. Thanks to my foster mom, now I just wave out the window to my feral cat friends.

I am 1 years old and very healthy, the vet said. I have received all of my vaccines, am negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, flea free, and have been neutered. I have received the works! I am also very handsome if you haven’t already noticed. Yes ... I certainly don't mind if you remind me :) I have a sleek black coat that is so glossy.

I am looking for a "roomie", someone I can talk to and hang out with. In exchange I will make you feel like there is no one better in this world than you. I love people and I'm a pretty cool cat: You want your space, you got it. When you're in the mood to rub my neck or want a companion, I cuddle. Sports? I can snatch a feather out of the air like nobody's business! I get along really well with everyone I meet. You won’t regret inviting me into your home and your heart. I have two children living with me in my foster home and I adore them. If you have children, no problem! I will love them, too.

I will do well by myself or with other felines - I will enjoy eating up all of the attention. I think I like dogs, definitely the polite ones. I have a mellow (but playful) engaging personality. I adjust quickly and make myself right at home.

If interested in meeting me, please call my rescuer, Donna, at 917.691.9466 or via e-mail at donnaerhardt@optonline.net. I look forward to meeting you!

Meow,
Panther
