Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cooper's Story...
Cooper has been with our rescue since May. He was just a few months old when we pulled him and his mother from BJC Animal Control. His mother was adopted by a wonderful family a few months ago, but Cooper is STILL looking for his forever home! He just doesn't understand WHY no one has been interested in adopting him. And, neither do we, because he is SUCH an AWESOME pup!

Cooper is approximately a year old, now. He is a male Shepherd / Border Collie mix. He is great with other dogs, cats, and children. He LOVES to play and have a good time. Couldn't live without his stuffed animal toys and milk bones! He also loves to chill out and cuddle. He's a pretty laid back boy. He's not a barker, but will let you know if someone comes into the yard.

He is a very smart boy who is learning his "sit" and "shake" commands. He would love to have a furever home with another dog and/or children to love and play with.

Cooper is crate trained, house trained, UTD on shots, neutered, and ready to meet you TODAY!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Wytheville Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Wytheville, or seeking a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wytheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wytheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wytheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wytheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
