Sibyl's Story...
WE LOVE THIS DOG. We just can't say enough about how wonderful she is. Sibyl is everything you want to see in a Pit Bull when it comes to people: an absolute puddle of love and sloppy affection. She’ll sidle up to you and make goo goo eyes and give you tender kisses until the cows come home, if you let her. Even though she's around 3, she acts like a big puppy and wants to sit in your lap and cuddle. She is ever so eager to please which should make training a snap. She is playful with other dogs and stunningly beautiful. We think she'd be great in a home with kids (aged 5 and up). She is the absolute cream of the crop.

Act quickly to adopt Sibyl. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sibyl, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
