Kittens's Story...
These brothers and sisters had a difficult start to life! As a stray, their mom had to work extra hard to make sure they had everything they needed to gain strength and remain healthy. Fortunately, they have a wonderful mom and she did a great job. Since they did not have any human contact for their first 6 weeks, they are still a little shy but are slowly learning that they enjoy cuddles and attention! These kittens need to be adopted in a pair or to a home with another cat who needs a companion! Their adoption fee is $125 which includes spay/neuter, rabies, 7-in-1 vaccine, and dewormer. An application and home check is required. If you are interested in making one (or two!!!) of the kitties a part of your family, please contact rescuemeproject@yahoo.com or hmdsmith@gmail.com for an application. Thank you! Macy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kittens, a Atlanta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
