Harry's Story...
Why did my family, after 7 years, betray me? They took me to the shelter one day for no reason and even said that they found me in the street when the kennel worker told them that there was a $75 surrender fee. I was going to be killed at that place. Why? What did I do? I never make in the house, I am friendly to everybody, I don't destroy anything. Why is this not making sense?

I'll love you just as much if you love me back. I am now with a very nice man who affectionately cares for me, but I need to find my own home so this nice man can save others like me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Forest Hills Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Forest Hills, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Forest Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
