I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Suzie's Story...
I am a very friendly cat. I wouldn't even stay far enough from the person taking my picture to let her get a good picture so she had to take one through the kennel bars. I like other cats, but most of all I like you. You can visit me at the El Cajon PetsMart.
All SPP cats are spayed/neutered before adoption, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and tested for FELV/FIV & will have 2 months free pet insurance. The adoption donation is $100. Please San Diego County Residents Only (no exceptions) long distance calls(out of San Diego County) will not be returned. For an application please visit http://www.shelterpetpartners.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzie, a San Diego/North County Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Diego/North County, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Diego/North County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego/North County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego/North County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego/North County paves the way for another one to be saved.
