Hi ya'll! Toto here! My foster mom left the computer alone so here I am because I love to help! She calls me the Little Shadow since I LOVE to be with my humans! I also love running around the backyard with my foster siblings, they out weigh me by 60lbs but I keep right up! I do great with big and little humans and dogs alike, and I am also completely housebroken. I do fine with inside kitties, they are little like me so I like to try to play with them, but I will leave them alone if you tell me to. See at 10yrs old and 20lbs I am a SASSY and HAPPY girl! I love the leash and on mile walks I just prance right along! And don't even tease me with a car ride-I LOVE the wind in my fur! My foster mom says I am all around pretty awesome, and I behave perfectly in the house. I even signal when I need to go outside or need some water, or even alittle attention! Boy do I love attention! My previous owner couldn't keep me any longer but they took really good care of me, I have great teeth and although I had seizures in the past, I am on medicine and haven't had one since! I love peanut butter with my pill so I hope my new family likes it too! Well, I hear her coming so I better go.. but if you're looking for an easy, happy, sassy, housetrained, great personality little lady who loves to go on long walks and fun car rides I am your gal!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Ace Hardware in Oxford on Friday August 9th from 2pm - 6pm. On Saturday August 10th CPR will be at Petsmart in Plainville from 10am - 2pm! On Sunday August 11th CPR will be hosting an Open House at our adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am-1pm. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
