Max's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max is a very sweet dog but very shy when you first meet him. Max does not shed so he is great for a home where allergies are an issue. He came from a hoarder situation and had no socialization with people, he had lived in a cage his whole life, I have only had Max for a few weeks and now he is like Velcro and very affectionate. We are working on potty training. Max would love another dog to play with as he is very energetic. He tends to chase cats that run but can be workable. He just needs a patient home that is willing to work with him and he will make a great dog. Max’s adoption fee is $300.

If you are interested in meeting Max please email his foster mom at dogcrazy623@comcast.net or call 847-497-3061.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Johnsburg Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Johnsburg, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Johnsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Johnsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Johnsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Johnsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
