Bear is about 2.5 years, happy, friendly,once he's bonded to you, weighs about 55-60 short pounds great personality and eager to please super nice healthy long coat active&fun, loves hiking in nature and doing things would make great companion to retired younger couple person that has time and lots of attention to give him, big fenced yard or property not a city boy loves being in the country or mountains, quiet home
He has no know aggression issues and would love a playmate his size, he's easy on leash and loves being loved and petted and his beautiful coat being brushed daily to keep it looking nice
Bear is a shy dog that has not been very socialized so he's looking for a very extra loving family that are home bodies in the country with daily walks and a playmate
He has done just fine going to Petco a few times a month but prefers not to go there but rather hike trails in nature and stay at home
Bear is all the above once he has bonded and trusts you, he has not been around small kids they would scare him if they are loud and running at him however he has never shown any aggression with any kids with supervision at adoption events so calm visiting kids are fine
He likes being chased by his human (or by a dog ) and eager to learn more games
Bear can be left inside the home for up to 4 hours by himself but we're looking for someone that is home during the day at least the first few months until he has settled in and than must have another friendly, playful but not hyper dog he can play with and learn to be more confident
If you think you are the one he can spend the rest of his life with in a warm, extra loving home with all the above please apply and get pre approved so you can meet him, just don't expect a dog that will jump all over you
Bear has a big heart and kind soul and if you have the same you will be on your way to many years of having a very extra loyal, loving buddy
