I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Lucky is the cutest little guy ever. I actually have no idea what breed he is, except the owner said German Shepherd. Well, he's the smallest German Shepherd I've ever seen! He only weighs about 25 lbs. Our pictures don't do him justice. He is really cute and small and most of the time his little ears stand straight up, that's why I selected Corgi as one of the breeds, except he's even smaller than a Corgi. He is a young boy..the vet said 9 to 12 months. He has a great personality and loves to play. He is neutered, has all shots and is microchipped. He'd love to come home with you. If you are interested in adopting Lucky, please go to our home page, copy the adoption application and paste it into an email ( unless you know a higher tech method, if so feel free to use it) then email it to me at Christine@kirbysfriends.com. Once that is done, we can set up an appointment for you to meet Lucky. If you have ever wondered what goes into calculating the adoption fee, here's what it is:
- Veterinary exam and vaccinations (approx. $100)
- Food and care from the day they arrive at the rescue to the day they leave, which is usually several months (hundreds of dollars)
- Veterinary care for internal parasites, ($40 - $100)heartworm (test $35-50, treatment $350-500) Preventative ($100), and/or neutering ($65 - $350)
As you might guess from this list, the fee rarely covers our actual costs. We appreciate that you value saving a previously-owned pet and we thank you for considering this dog in your search for a new companion.
Lucky is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
