Ollivander's Story...
Meet Louie, a one year old male black cat. Louie is a very loving and
outgoing cat just waiting for the right person to give him a permanent
home! What really makes Louie so special? He was born with a condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia which maked him very incoordinated and
clumsy. As a result Louie does have some "special needs." Louie needs
to be kept away from stairs-he will climb them and could fall down them!
He is also rather messy with his food and litter and tends to climb
furniture rather than try to jump. All these needs are easily managed
with a baby gate or two and a litter box with a lid. Louie is an
extremely sweet kitty, he begins to purr as soon as you pick him up and
he loves to relax in a lap. Louie is also very playful and curious, he
will chase anything dangled in front of him and can perfom some pretty
acrobatic feats despite his coordination problems! He is very outgoing
and investigates everything fearlessly. He even gets along well with
other cats and he loves dogs! Louie does not attend adoptions as he prefers the comfort of his foster parent's home so if you would like more information on Louie, please send us an email or give us a call!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollivander, a College Station Pit Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler for sale in College Station, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
