My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Absolutely Gorgeous - One Handsome Guy

Hi, my name is Camper. I was found behind a school yard were I went for help. I have no way of telling anyone what happened to me, but I was hungry and had a dent in my head. I thought I could find help at the school, I heard all the laughter surely some one would help me. But, they didn't the kids and parents started throwing things at me to go away, some one yelled "shoot it". I wanted to run, but was to weak. Finally, one of the parents drove her car between the others and me, opened her card door and put me inside. She brought me to Robyn's Nest, where I was welcomed with open arms. Here I was fed, and they took to a nice vet who said although I had been hit in the head with a blunt object, it look like I was going to be okay. That was then...this is now....I have gained all my weight back. And I like my new style of life. I like hanging around inside the house, sometimes I sit in an open lap, others I curl up on the bed, or I just hang out in my den crate and watch TV. I go outside from time to time and just run and sniff around, but I prefer to be inside with people. I am pretty strong, but am learning to walk on my leash. My favorite thing is when i get to go for rides in the van, I get the back seat to myself, they crack the window and the wind just blows in my face, I feel pretty happy....they tell me things are gonna get even better soon...that my new family will come to get me soon and then I will undivided attention, my people all to myself. My forever family will need to provide a safe loving environment for me as well a fenced yard, I am an inside dog with outdoor access. To adopt Camper, please email us...this adoption will require a vet reference as well as a personal reference and a home visit.
