Little Lucy's Story...
Little Lucy is with the Humane Society in Franklin County and if you are interested in her please email sonshinechristian@juno.com

Little Lucy is about 3-4 months old and weighs 15 lbs; a cute little girl who is sweet and affectionate. Little Lucy is SUPER sweet and loves to get attention and give kisses.
She also gets along with everyone, even cats. She's very athletic and does somer saults and flips when she is excited. She loves to play so much, she reminds you of a cat when she tries to get you to play with her. She is only 3-4 months old and 18 lbs, so she will most likely get a little bigger when full grown.

The adoption process begins with an application, which is a tool the Franklin County Humane Society uses to make a good forever home match. PLEASE-- NO PHONE CALLS -- YOUR CALL CANNOT BE RETURNED. **EMAIL ONLY TO: sonshinechristian@juno.com and we'll send you an application and/or answer any questions you might have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Lucy, a Indianapolis Beagle/Foxhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Foxhound for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Beagle/Foxhound puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Foxhound breeders who help with Beagle/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
