Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otis is a smart, goofy, friendly and affectionate, gorgeous brindle-striped, 38-pound, 1 to 2 year old Boxer mix with floppy ears looking for a loving home. Otis was found left behind in an abandoned house when his family moved. Otis needs an experienced dog-lover to give him daily exercise, and help him work on his house manners through training classes, maybe even agility. He is living in a foster home in Chicago where he has proven himself great with female dogs, and he’s even chosen a best friend. His foster mom says they run like mad together, and Otis’ ears flop in the breeze. Otis is housebroken and is good about being crated for several hours. He would do wonderfully in a home where someone is dedicated to his exercise needs, education and may even have a female dog for him to play and run with.
Otis is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm-tested. To get an adoption application or more information on Otis, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.
